UN High Commissioner Conference on Yemen

HMSC participated in a high-level United Nations conference addressing the humanitarian and security crisis in Yemen. Our team contributed threat-focused insights on the use of landmines, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and other concealed munitions along Yemen’s western coast—supporting discussions on civilian protection, accountability mechanisms, and regional stability.
The Return of the Taliban

HMSC defence and security adviser Mr. Mamoun Naji participated in a strategic seminar hosted by the Masarat Foundation, examining the Taliban's resurgence and its implications for global jihadist movements. The panel addressed the evolving threat posed by al-Qaeda, ISIS-K, and extremist dynamics across the MENA region following the Taliban’s return to power.
